What we collect and why
This policy explains how Christopher Durand, trading as Watchbench Supply (“we”), handles personal information collected through watchbenchsupply.com. We are the data controller. Last updated 25 September 2026.
When you order, we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address and order details. We use them to process and deliver the order, send confirmations and tracking, and handle returns and customer service. The legal basis is performing our contract with you.
Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored by us.
If you subscribe to updates, we keep your email address on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies, sharing and retention
This site runs on the Wix platform, which sets cookies needed for the site and checkout to work, and analytics cookies only with your consent.
We share your information only with those needed to fulfil your order: Wix (hosting and checkout), our payment processor, our fulfilment partners (name and delivery address) and the carriers. Some of them are outside the EU; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses. We never sell personal information.
We keep order records for as long as tax law requires, and customer-service emails for as long as needed to resolve your query.
Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. EU residents may also complain to their local data protection authority. US residents of states with privacy laws, including California, have equivalent rights and we honour them.
